Sleeping Beauty

The Princess has finally moved into her room! She's not so excited about the actual going-to-bed-to-sleep process, though, and bedtime has become a ritual I remember all too well when her mommy moved to a big-girl bed. It's the "mommy/grandma-lay-down-with-me" mantra, and getting her to finally give it up and go to sleep is quite an accomplishment. That aside, it has been a happy, magical time for her and she is totally loving the room. She'll go in there and play all by herself, and crawl up and down on the bed. Maybe she is "Practicing" for the time when she will go to bed like a really big girl, and go to sleep all by herself. Here are a few photos of her in her new Princess Room along with her special friends, Curious George, Elmo, Abby Cadaby, Barney, a blue hippo and a pink elephant. And she's probably wearing her high-heeled, boa-adorned Princess shoes under that Princess comforter.
